Description
Impressive wallcarpet by the Dutch textile artist Nel Goubitz (1911). She was well-known in the 1970s for her books on plantbased paints and on natural dyeing techniques. In the 1970s she created wonderful wallcarpets made of wool in subtle colours. She had several expositions throughout The Netherlands. This wallcarpet is a very fine example of her work, inspired by nature, especially by trees. In very good condition, signed Nel Goubitz, wool, 130×100.
