Marian Zawadzki (1912 – 1978) was a Polish ceramist. He worked for Tilgmans Keramik in Sweden. Zawadski’s work defined the face of the company. Marian Zawadzki developed his own sgraffito technique. The lines he scratched into his designs gave his work a unique texture. This table lamp is a fine example of this sgraffito technique, in very good condition, signed and stamped ’tilgman keramik made in sweden’ h 27 (21), diameter 8
