Description
Jan Schuurkes is one of the designers of Cor Unum, the pottery founded in ‘s Hertogenbosch in 1953. In de 50’s and early 60s Schuurkes made sophisticated products, closely related to the Informele Kunst of that period. This vase is a very good example of the high artistic quality of Dutch ceramics in the post-war periode. In very good condition, signed CU, h. 25, diameter 10.
