Description
Work on paper by the famous German painter, collage and object artist Herbert Zangs (1924-2003) in his series ‘Scheibenwischer’. Zangs studied 1945-50 at the Düsseldorf academy under O. Pankok. He painted abstract and figurative paintings, since the 1950s he became famous with his ‘Verweißungen’ and the works painted with a windscreen wiper. In 1977 he exhibited at the Documenta 6.
