Rare coffee table by the important Dutch designer, architect and design-theorist Hein Salomonson (1910-1994). He was an active contributor to the influential magazine Goed Wonen. This coffee table is characteristic for Dutch minimalism in the post-war period, revitalizing the De Stijl aesthetics from the 1920’s. The coffee table AP104 was produced by AP Originals in the mid-fifties. In good condition; a black metal frame with teakwood ends, a glass top and a white enamelled metal perforated shelf, with normal wear due to age and usage, h. 45, w. 45, l. 90
