Description

A very sophisticated coffee table in rattan, glass and perspex by the Dutch factory of Trio Noordwolde. In the 1970s the famous Noordwolde rattan factories (Rohé, Jonkers, Trio) used peeled rattan – manou – to be able to paint the frames of their furniture, something that was not possible with pure rattan. In the 70’s dark painted furniture was very much in demand. Also characteristic for that period is the use of different materials in one object. In very good condition, with some minor marks of use, manou-rattan, wood, glass and perspex, 120x60x40.
