The Dutch factory AWU, founded by Adrianus Willem Uithol, was internationally famous for its richly decorated and sculptured art deco clocks and – later on – its brutalist midcentury clocks. This beautiful brutalist 50s design is in very good working condition with a wind-up mechanism, brass, marked AWU, h. 40, diameter 15, d. 6.
