Intriguing work of art, mixed media / collage by the Dutch artist Theo Boons (1926-2013). Boons was a member of the Haagse Kunstkring. He is one of those artists from the 1950s who worked in an experimental way (‘informal art’), but did not make it to the top, so their work is still very affordable. Boons is promising for the future and deserves a more prominent place in Dutch art history.
